Business South West celebrates 'vibrant' show

A recent business exhibition in the south-west of England has been hailed as a success by organisers.

The Business South West show attracted almost 200 businesses to display exhibition stands at the event as well as 3,500 visitors over its two days of opening, most of whom the organisation claimed were major decision makers within their firms.

One exhibitor, Exeter-based Crisp Group, described the show in glowing terms.

"We were impressed with the presentation and organisation of what turned out to be a busy and vibrant show," said the firm's administrator Joan Allmark. "We felt that TJW provided the right mixture of support to ensure success."

Nina Hurst Jones of organisers TJW Exhibitions said that the decision of many firms to rebook for 2005 ensured the event's success.

"This is now the largest business-to-business event of its kind in the UK and one of the longest-running and many of our exhibitors come back year after year. The secret of our success is that we bring together those people from businesses which have something to sell with those people from businesses who are looking to buy."

The exhibition was supported by Business Link.
